Inaugural Post

So a blog begins.  Long ago I had an online journal, but a little something called grad school got in the way of ever having time to update it.  This time around I plan to keep it focused on home and garden posts.  A little design, a little inspiration, a little documentary style and whatever else feels appropriate.
